Need help, please

Post  JaFra on 4/15/2012, 5:20 pm

Can anyone give me a hand with changing the brake pads and rotors on my wife's Mazda3 on Monday 4/16? The driver's side front rotor is grinding like crazy, and it's just not safe to drive at this point. Being that it's the only baby-toter we have, I'd like to get this done ASAP, and I've never done this before. At this point, I'm pretty sure it only needs the front set done, so it shouldn't take all that long.

Thanks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have to work otherwise I'd be glad to help. If it is grinding you'll likely need rotors too. Don't forget to grease the caliper slides.

Hey, did this get accomplished yet?

If not, pick a night this week and I'll be there!

it did. Ryan was gracious enough to come over yesterday, despite having worked 27 hours of the past 40.

Holy crap, Ryan. You were an animal this weekend. (He helped me with the axle swap right before that ridiculous stretch of working)

Glad to hear it. If you ever need anything I am right in town. I have Sun-Wed off most weeks, so feel free to hit me up.

Ryan, props to you man. This is what a local group is all about.

Thanks shown, Ryan. She said there was an odd rotating type sound from the front left that disappeared as speed increased.
