Hi all... just saw the link to this web site on Cherokee Forum and came over and joined. Live in Waltham work in Methuen so I drive back and forth daily... my 2000 Cherokee Limited is a black 4 door. The truck has 111,000 on it and a Jasper motor with 21k miles on it.... 3 inch lift, rear locker..... my daughter drive a 2002 Liberty so we're a jeep family.....would be great to connect with some jeep guys to ride and maybe get some advice/assistance on repairs, mods... etc...

Hope to do just that!

Awesome! I had realized yesterday (while trying to get my post count up so I can list an XJ part out) that we had never reached out on that forum.

Welcome! What's your name?

John,

We've got a good mix. Youngest member is a freshman in college, the majority in late 20s and early-mid 30s if I had to make an educated guess. Either way a great group of people many of whom I'd consider good friends.

I'll be sending out our winter newsletter shorty which will fill you in on what's going on in the next few months.

Hi Ryan.... thanks for the great welcome and for the age info.... I realized when I read your reply that, well, I miscounted... I was 55 last December..... but who's counting!

Looking forward to being here and some trail rides.... just needing to add tow points up front... have a tow point on my hitch in the rear already so that would prob qualify is my guess...

Thanks again,

John

Hi Mark.... I was looking at some pics of runs and saw a red XJ... who drives that one do you know? Just curious. Also, I work in Methuen just down the highway from you... and used to work in Haverhill many, many years ago by the old Hale Hospital....

I think he has only posted 8 times or so.
I don't think that he has ever gone on any of runs that I can think of.
Met him at pizza party club had.

LOL... in the early 80's I worked for HealthWorks the Merrimack Valley family planning program... we had offices in Lowell, Law and Haverhill.... when I was in Haverhill we had a large double-wide... yup.... parked in back of the hospital looking at the cemetery.... I used to eat a lot at a great deli down I think what would be Main St near the bridge to Bradford..... wow... my brain was really using resources to recall that... phew... Razz

Actually, I'd guess the red XJ you saw was "Rawry", which is Daniell's counterpart to her husband Clayton's TJ.

They've done some neat stuff to it, both interior and exterior. Nothing crazy wheeling-wise, just lifting and armoring, but Clayton's done an *awesome* job freeing up a lot of downtravel on it.

Bingo bango. That's the only red XJ we've ever had on a trail run and I believe it's only come twice in two years. They live in Lawrence, so you may have seen it around.
