NSJ Approved Vendor List

Post  Ryan McKee on Mon 19 Mar 2012 - 0:00

Some of the vendors I've used recently and recommend! Click names for links.

- Rock Auto - be sure to Google for their most recent 5% off discount.  ALWAYS quick shipping and great prices.

- Northridge 4x4 - ask for Dirk.  7 day shipping to Boston, but they will price match and have great customer service.

- Crown Auto South Shore - Boston. Ask for Jeff. He knows about NSJ and is 20 minutes outside of the city.  Can get parts QUICK!

- Domenic's Jeep - Southern NH, gears, axles, lifts, inspections, parts, frame work

- Steve's Jeep Country - Southern NH, gears, axles, lifts, parts, whole Jeeps for sale

Post up ones you can think of, and I'll either add them to this list, or keep the individual posts going.

All liability at North Shore Jeeps events is your own. You are attending/driving/observing at your own risk. You are solely responsible for yourself, your passengers, and your vehicle.

If you're looking for a fabrication or resto shop, AW Fab is down the street from me in Woburn. Keith owns it, great guy. Their main gig is hot-rods, but they also have a couple of sick XJs that get wheeled fairly regularly (formerly a CJ guy, though).

AW Fab, 17 North Maple Street, Woburn 781-932-3522

If you're looking for a driveline shop, I'd highly recommend Montrose Machine in Wakefield. Really nice, *extremely* knowledgeable, and some just great work.

Montrose Machine, 87A New Salem Street, Unit 2B, 781-246-1082

And the junkyard people were asking about (the one you can still walk around and pull yourself) is Holland's Used Auto Parts in Billerica

Holland's Used Auto Parts, 1 Winning Road N. Billerica, MA 01862, 978-667-9235 http://www.hollandusedautoparts.com/

Elias 4WD in Townsend , MA. I have had work done there a few times. Lou is a great guy to deal with. He is always upfront and honest with me. Heck he has talked me out of spending money a few times already!

Wanted to add Bel Metric in Tyngsboro, MA for fastners. They have EVERYTHING! They guy working there was very helpful. I went there for the first time today for a Class 12.9 M10-1.5x75mm track bar bolt upgrade. Great pricing too. $4 for two of them and two thick cut HD washers.

Oh, and if you ever need a good, inexpensive general mechanic and body shop for general stuff:

CLM Auto Repair. Mario owns it and is a great guy and super knowledgeable. He's in the process of expanding to *another* shop right now. That's how much his business is booming.

Wanted to update this list, as I had talked to Bob during yesterday's run about CB equipment...

Right Channel Radios is a very helpful site for CB parts, kits, etc!
