Hey fellas, im Andrew and im from harvard ma. Some of you may know me from the old north shore site, and Jeepforum. Ive got a 2000 yellow tj, with stock suspension for now. I have my lift kit sitting in the basement, waiting to go in. There will most likely be a rear end axle swap, along with installing the lift before spring gets here. The most current modifications are, Banks cat back, Black Rock D-window rims, Blue led dash lights, and a rust hole in the frame! Cant wait to hit the trails with you guys bounce

Welcome! Glad you finally made it over and started a post.

Get some photos up of the rig if you'd like, so that others can see what it looks like. Same posting method as JeepForum, if you've got a Photobucket account!

Next trail run is January 21st, if you'd like to come! Very Happy

Also, let us know if you need a couple extra hands for installing the lift!

Thanks Guys! The lift kit should be installed in the next few weeks, but no telling when it will really happen, hopefully before march rolls around. Im ordering some bumpstop extenders to make sure i have the proper bump. Also, im looking into getting 3/4 inch spring spacers for the front just to make sure there is minimal sag. And within the next 2 weeks (before the trail run) im going to get my CB wired up. I found a detailed, picture included, step by step write up when i searched it into google. My buddy and i are confident that we can get it done and figured out by ourselves! I cant wait to go offroad!

Shoot me a text/call if you need help with the CB - 781 632 3864. Electrics happen to be one of my specialties, and I also am one of the only people on here that owns an SWR meter for tuning them (Assuming you have a Firestik)...

If you want, I can tune it the 21st before we hit the trails!

Ryan, that would be a huge help if you could help me tune the CB before we hit the trails! And i do have a firestick! I should be able to get the CB in and wired on Tuesday with my buddy, he has a little experience wiring stuff up. And ive been reading up on it, doesnt sound or look too hard, but if we get in a jam, ill throw you a call or text, thanks! Ill have too look at my thread on the other forum to see what other materials you recommended i get before i do the install. Should be a good learning experience!

Stop by an auto parts store, and pick up a wire connector for battery terminals. They're pretty cheap.

Yep. Auto parts or Home Depot. Ask for crimp on electrical connectors, ideally 14 or 16 AWG (gauge) although your power cable is probably 14. Also, be sure to get a good chassis ground! CBs are heavily reliant on a good ground.
