YJ axle swap

For anyone interested I'm going to be swapping my stock 3.07 axles for a YJ 4.11 d30 with TJ shafts and a TJ d35 4.10 rear. I'll start out on JeepForum and if there's interest here I'll update both. Thought someone might want to benefit from my turmoil

What are you doing with the stock gear set?

I have no real destination for the gears but if I pull too many parts off the axles (knuckles, hubs, rods, links etc) for them to be sellable I might just do a mock gear swap using my leftovers as practice and if it works sell it and if not sell for scrap. In the end I should have a TJ d30 (4.10) without shafts and a YJ d30 (3.07s) without steering components. Why, do you have any ideas

Scrap prices for the 2 gear sets wouldn't buy a $1 coffee at McD's. I just scrapped 1000lbs and received a whole $28.
I just thought you were going to toss them, if that was the case I have a use for them.

I took the axle shafts and steering out of the TJ d30 but the housing and gears are still intact if that's of any use to you. PLease let me know if you're interested and I'll put it aside for you. It would be free but I'd need you to pick it up.

Hi, As far as the 3.07s go, they're still on the jeep. Since I'm doing a complete swap I'm not taking my jeep out of service until swap time. Could be a little while still.

The 4.10s are available whenever you want to schedule a time to come get them. Just keep in mind that they are still in the housing so you need a pickup or SUV
