Its sad though, its private property and the police really can't enforce that, as much as who ever wrote that letter thinks. They can hire a private tow, and tow all the Jeeps when you guys arn't around. But that's all. I read that, it took that last line as a threat. Nice place.

It's actually in the condo docs that they can. They're allowed to assign fines (sort of arbitrarily) and count each day the infraction occurs as a separate fine.

They said they're going to start doing drive-throughs to see if there are any leaking vehicles. I kind of screwed with the YJ, ha ha.

I realize that they own the property and you're a "resident" but can they legitimately do that? What are they going to say to a leaking vehicle. How many people leak coolant? AC Compressors? "You're going to need to replace your vehicle, we can't have leakers here..."

Wow, we have several apartment complexes here in town and the property management will call for us to ticket / tow vehicles. That is bizarre that they can issue their own fines. I hope you don't pay any maintenance fees.
