Check this out,,, dangerous as hell having only a stock bumper, not only that but being in the line of fire
isn't too bright!!
That guy is lucky to be alive,
There was a lack of awareness there, you just never know what could or is going to happen..
WHAT HAVE WE LEARNED FROM THIS??? STAY CLEAR OF STUFF LIKE THAT..

Re When stock just isn't enough
I'm new to the Jeep world and the first thing I wouldn't do is hook up to my bumper unless it was my only option. Second is I wouldn't gun it like he did. That guy is lucky he didn't loose his head. When you can if your bumper isn't strong enough wrap the line around your axle and if you loose your axle then you know you had big problems with your suspension. Think tow truck driver's way of hooking a vehicle up.

Yeah....
My situation wasn't at all this stupid. But I was screwing around on a snow bank at my old man's place over the weekend annnnnnd now I need a new rear bumper. To be fair, what was on there was something custom by a previous owner. I'm glad it happened when I was NOT stranded in the middle of the woods, though. And no one was even close to hurt. So, now I have a reason to get the tire carrier I should have, and a rear bumper with tow points.

Well I definitely cannot afford that happening in my Jeep that's for sure! It is my DD.
