Official Acronym/Abbreviations List!
Maybe someday when I'm bored, I'll alphabetize this...in the meantime I'll just start it off.
If you can think of any more, just post them and I'll add to the list!
SYE - Slip Yoke Eliminator
BL - Body Lift
MML - Motor Mount Lift
BDS - Company that manufactures lifts
Diff - Differential
CJ - Model of Jeep produced from (someone help me here) with designations up to (9? 10?)
YJ - Wrangler, years '87-'95
TJ - Wrangler, years '97(no '96) - '06
LJ - Extended wheelbase Wrangler, years ('04-06?)
JK - Current model Wrangler, years '07-Present
JKU - JK Unlimited, 4-door version of JK
XJ - Cherokee, years (damned if I know)
ZJ - First Gen Grand Cherokee, years (also damned if I know)
WJ - Second Gen Grand Cherokee, years (I could Google it, I guess)
WK(II) - Third Gen Grand Cherokee with the WK2 being the refresh, years (no clue)
IFS - Independent Front Suspension
Pumpkin - Differential
4lo/4hi - In a part-time transfer case, 4-wheel drive with high or low gearing
OEM - Original equipment manufacturer
ATF - Automatic Transmission Fluid (also used in Transfer Case and as a general lubricant)
TC - Transfer Case
BB - Budget Boost: spacers that go on top of springs to give lift height
BFG - B.F. Goodrich Tires
BFH - Big "frigging" Hammer
UCA - Upper Control Arms
LCA - Lower Control Arms
VIN - Vehicle Identification Number
TRE - Tie Rod End
TPS - Throttle Position Sensor
CAI - Cold Air Intake
CPS - Crankshaft Position Sensor
PCM - Power Control Module? (It's your vehicle computer)
PDC - Power Distribution Center (Your main underhood fusebox)
SOA - Spring Over Axle
SUA - Spring Under Axle
OBDI/II - Onboard Diagnostics (Generation 1 or 2)
OBA - On Board Air
LSD - Limited Slip Differential
I4/6 - Inline 4/6 (The old bulletproof engines made until 2006)
DD - Daily Driver
D30 - Dana 30 (Front Axle)
D35 - Dana 32 (YJ & TJ stock rear axle, often knocked for being weak)
D44 - Dana 44 (TJ Rubicon and JK stock rear axles)
SPST - Single Pole, Single Throw (A type of switch with one circuit that is either "on" or "off")
DPDT - Double Pole, Double Throw (A type of switch with two voltage sources, each with the ability to throw to two separate circuits)
TT - "Tummy Tuck" (A mod in which you add a flatter skidplate to increase clearance. Often found with "stock shovel" aka the OEM skidplate.)
Non-technical:
GTD - National Go Topless Day
IMHO - In my humble opinion

I don't have any abbreviations but did have a question about something I saw a few people mention. What is a "tummy tuck"?

A tummy tuck is a transmission skid plate that is basically flat even with the frame.
Usually a motor mount lift, slip yoke eliminator and body lift is needed with it.
