Hi from Haverhill!
Just wanted to say that if anyone is up for a ride that's from the haverhill area, let me know if you wanna go for a ride some weekend. Barrington NH is only 45 mins away and i hear there's good riding up there. Plus- i heard of a place in haverhill called Brandy Brow Road. Haven't been to either.
Hit me up if you wanna ride.
Whens the next Club Run?

Re: Hi from Haverhill!
Hey Tony Welcome to NSJ,,
It is strongly advised that Members of NSJ do not participate in ILLEGAL WHEELING.
That is why we are a club, so we can wheel responsibly and tread lightly with permission of land owners be it public or private property.
Hope fully In return be respected by land owners and others.
There is no legal wheeling in Haverhill.
It doesn't matter if you are in the pit in Newton NH or on the Haverhill side.
Brandy brow road is illegal to wheel, ( even though people do go there.)
There is some legal wheeling in Raymond and in Barrington NH.
Not telling you what to do, just telling you what we as a club don't do.

Re: Hi from Haverhill!
hey mark-
thanks for the update- i had no idea about Btandy Brow not being legal. I'm too old to be illegally wheeling! I've heard of the place in Barrington and i am definitely checking that out.
Where in Raymond are you talking about? not sure i am familiar with anything up that way.
Any idea when the next Club Ride will be? Let me know if you're going off road ever-love to go with someone that knows legal places to go.
Thanks for the tips!

Re: Hi from Haverhill!
Hi Tony. Welcome. I got the wrist slap, too. I didn't know any better. You JUST missed a get together with a lot of people from this forum. Granted, we didn't do any wheeling, but it was great to get out and meet some names from the internet face-to-face. As far as I know right now, and Mark or anyone may correct me if I'm wrong, the next "club run" will be at Go Topless Day..? That's May 18. I may be interested in getting out before then if others are going, but I gotta get a rear bumper on first.

Re: Hi from Haverhill!
Tony,
At this point in time I would rather not say where in Raymond the trails are.
Out of respect for the locals up there.
Maybe you and ROB can get together and go there sometime as he has been there.
I do not want the world to know.
When you have made more than ten posts you can PM members and recieve PMs.
What part of Haverhill / side of town , do you live in.
Lived here very long?

Re: Hi from Haverhill!
sweet! may 18th sounds awesome. i'll keep an eye out.
sounds good mark- i'm down to take a trip any weekend. i don't do much wheeling around here. i lived in maine for about 10 years for college and work after. I am originally from lawernce-but lived in NH and Maine. my family is all from haverhill-so i moved down here about 10 years ago. I live over off of 97.
i've been wanting to hook up with a group of jeepers. i haven't really done any wheeling in this area. I'm not a huge fan of flying solo in places i don't know. and i'm not the type to hit illegal places/peoples property. in this area that leaves just about no place to go. i do alot of camping up in maine in the summers- so i will head up that way and get muddy.
I'm psyched i found this site. I'm looking forward to heading out with a group. looking at some of your past Runs-it looks like a blast. my Rubicon is pretty much stock. i can't put a lift on her bc i won't fit in my garage. but i do have a winch and tow straps.
So May 18th is your next Run?

I'm off route 97 too, off Broadway behind the high school.
There are other stock height rigs in the club, you would be suprised where your jeep can go with out a lift..

Re: Hi from Haverhill!
really? jeez- you may live behind my grandmother. she's on 97 across from that white church on the corner just off 495. they've been there for 60 years. I'm up on the hill across from the Grill. we've must've passed each other a few times- i always give the nod/wave.
yeah-i've gotten my jeep pretty deep in the mud (no snorkel) and i've been blown away of what i can get through. i'm not too familiar with going up and over alot of rocks. i don't have many skid plates underneath. its on my to do list this summer.

Re: Hi from Haverhill!
Over by or off forrest street I presume.
I'm down further at top of broadway near lowell ave , behind skating rink.
White TJ, black soft top, winch, lift, etc with grey chicken strapped to front bumper.
You will do fine on the trail with that jeep.

Welcome.
Just to clear things up, May 18th is the date of Go Topless Day out by Springfield, MA. We are going to be heading to MaBell Sunday the 19th (most will be staying over out in the Western MA area) and wheeling on Sunday. You're more than welcome to join. Details are listed in the NSJ Events/Announcements category on the home page.

Re: Hi from Haverhill!
Hey tony, I'm in Haverhill twice a week, right behind b.brow rd going towards Merrimack. Got a few places around there to get dirty on, nothing crazy but....I'm stock(atm) too gimme a shout.
Re: Hi from Haverhill!
Awesome! I'm about a 10 minute ride from brandy brow. I typically get home at 5:30pm on weeknites. I'm down for any evening! I'm free most nites-so just let me know and I'm in!
BTW-I hear Brandy Brow is illegal-but I know there's a lot of land that way.

Weekend Ride 4/27 4/28?
anyone around for a ride this weekend? my brother is coming home from the Army and he'd love to get the jeep muddy. If anyone knows of someplace that's not too aggressive and crazy-and not too far away (hour or less from haverhill)-that would be great.
Thanks!!!
Thanks!!!

You might try posting this in the "Member Organized Runs" section, which would probably get more views/traffic!
