SYE Install Party
Hey All-
Posted this in TJ Tech also.
Looking to get a few people (if you're interested!) together on Monday to install my SYE. Geoff said he had the snap ring pliers, which simply leaves need for ramps which Clay said I could borrow from him. Are any of you interested in helping out? Can't imagine it takes very long (a few hours at most).
Any help would be appreciated! Location is T.B.D.

Re: Ryan's Chili Pepper TJ Rig
Hey Ryan, I'm more than willing to help if you need it, is the case out of the jeep yet? I did this to my t-case about 2 summers ago; IICR it was pretty straight forward; just need enough room to spread out, I used a 3'x4' bench with vice, and a door on sawhorses to lay all the parts out on. I've got a *.pdf of the Jeep component service manual for the np231; (manual lists cherokee/wagoneer/comanche, but they're pretty close... worked for me) pm me your email and I'll send it over!

As of now, the plan is to keep it in the Jeep for the install. Everything I have read says it's no harder to do under the Jeep than when it's on a shop table. Shoot me a text if you're interested in helping out and I'll send you the address we'll be doing it at!

Message sent! I'll see if I have any pictures of when I did mine; might have some on the computer at home I think that should work, you'll just be upside down although, the tranny can probably hold the tcase still better than a vice!

Re: Ryan's Chili Pepper TJ Rig
Just a few recent photos! Limited snow pics this year, but that's okay. Mods are going great... SYE / CV is done, transfer case drop is removed, and new Currie arms are on their way!
