Go Topless Day Accident - Canada
A 20-year-old woman is dead following a Jeep demonstration at an event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
The Jeeps Go Topless event drew hundreds of spectators, and this weekend’s unexpected tragedy it left many in shock after the mishap that occurred.
The owner of one Jeep rolled up onto the tire of another Jeep. The driver then turned off the Jeep’s engine and posed for pictures. As he dismounted, the vehicle lurched forward, flipped on its side and struck a woman nearby.

What a tragedy.
Maybe it is a manual trans and the driver put the ignition back on after shutting it off and it rolled and started after wards.

I had to watch the Jeep twice to figure out what the heck happened. I assumed it just rolled off the tire, flopped, and hit someone.
But Mark, I think you're right. It's flopped a good distance from Jeep it was on. It must have been in gear with the e-brake not effective on the larger tires, rolled off, and in doing so bump-started. If so, being in gear already it would have lurched forward.
That's awful.

Terrible huh, yeah if it were in 4 low and key was on it would start instantly with the smallest amount of movement and would be next to impossible to stop.
I wonder if that is what happened.
