Nick from Lawrence saying Hi.
Hey Guys, I just found out about this forum through a friend and wanted to introduce myself. I recently picked up a new Rubicon to replace my old Jeep. I kept my old Jeep pretty much stock but I want to go all out with this one, or at least as all out as my wallet will let me. Hopefully When I go to lift it next spring I can lean on you guys for some help.

Nice JK - did the grille come that way or did you paint it? Â Stubby antenna and half doors? What about the black piece on the cowl, did you move the intake at all? Curious if you did all these things or if it rolled off the line looking like that...I'm not too educated on JK trim levels haha
Looks great

Yeah, looks like you've done a bit already.
I'm assuming that's the Rugged Ridge cowl snorkel? How was the installation?

Thanks guys. I sprayed the grille with Monstaliner, its like Line-X but better. Stubby antenna was from Antennax. Half doors are from the factory, I waited 3 months for that option, and those cowl covers are just sick on plastic armor to prevent the mirror from swinging into it and leaving a dent when you forget to put the door limit straps back on (ask me how I know that will happen ) I also put on Trek Armor seat covers and an AFE exhaust, but you cant see those in the pic. I've pretty much run out of little mods to do, now its time to get onto the real stuff.

Monstaliner is a great product, I did the tub in my old TJ and loved it, did you line the tub in your JK or was the monstaliner just left over from the old jeep?
I definitely haven't seen many half hard door JK's they look awesome
Hopefully those big mods comes soon...you've got an awesome base to start from - any plans?

Thanks man, I got the Monstaliner specifically for the grille just to try it out, now I can't think of a single thing that I don't want to use it on. The stuff is awesome.
As far as the big mods go, the next thing to go on will prob be Poison Spyder's hood louvers. I'm still working on saving some cash for a lift and tires. I know I want to go with a 3.5" lift, I just haven't decided which company to go with. So far it's a toss up between Rubicon Express and Rock Krawler.

I would love to hear your exhaust. I am thinking about getting an AFe system.
