Sears Auto Burlington Question (Sort of)
Ok... I know someone here used to work there (saw it on another thread) so I figured I might could get an answer to something that's been bugging the crap out of me...
Just across the parking lot from the Sears auto, between the main road and the building is a big wooded/shrubbed depression that sits much lower than the overall parking lot. In that depression is what I can only describe as a small "track". It's a semi triangular set of roads that look about half scale from normal roads. It almost looks like an RC track or something, but there's no driver's stands or anything... It's got stop lines and everything.... and for the life of me I have no idea what the heck it's for...
Anyone know?

You mean this? Clayton used to work there (SaxManClay) so he'd be the one to ask. I'll tell him to reply to this thread.

Yeah! That! It's driving me crazy... I keep imagining OompaLoompas doing stock car races on it or something...

That's a small course to teach children about bicycle safety. The Burlington Police use it about two or three times during the summer, and they go down there with stop signs and traffic cones and such. Chik-fil-A usually helps sponsors the event too with free nuggets. Ask me how I know. No five year old stands a chance against a hungry Clayton!
