Ryan D from Cambridge
Hi guys..
I'm currently building a mild 97 wrangler sport 6cyl man with 62K miles. She currently sits on a 2 inch lift and is running 32's. Doing SS RR headers today actually. Did a warn rock crawler bumper with loop, and a new warn xd9000i on Tuesday. Waiting on the warn rear bumper with tire carrier, should be here today or the next. Looking forward to getting out on some runs with you guys!

Welcome Ryan! (Man, we've got a lot of Ryans around here, ha ha)
Sounds like you've got some nice projects coming up. How long have you had it?
Any pictures?

LOL, yeah I noticed all the other Ryan's on here when I signed up!
I've only had this particular rig for 3 weeks or so. I was looking for a really clean, low mileage TJ for the right money, and this one popped up. I've had four WK's and two GC's. I still have a 00 WK sport auto with 72K on it, bone stock.
The guy I bought this jeep off of did the following work in the last month with paperwork verification.
wheels
tires
entire front end
radiator
lift
fluid flush
plugs, wires, cap
rhino lined tub
por 15 the undercarriage
Big, unexpected tax bill led to him selling it to me for a decent price of 8K.

Re: Ryan D from Cambridge
Dude....not a bad price at all.
Especially with low mileage, Rhino-lined and POR-15'd, you lucked out. That should be an awesome build foundation!
Let us know if you'd like a hand with any of the mods!

Thanks! I'll post a cpl pics of how she sits right now in a few minutes. Got a new phone today, and am going to try out the camera again. I took the shot of the headers in my avi today during the install. Didnt even have to remove the injectors!

Re: Ryan D from Cambridge
I should really do a write-up on posting pictures because it's not that straightforward, but there's a couple different ways:
You can upload via the forum by using the the "Host an Image" button with the picture and the floppy disc (I just realized how obsolete that image is, ha ha)
The easier way is to upload them to facebook or photobucket or something, then right-click to copy the image URL. Then you can just use the tree-picture icon to paste the image in. The URL will go between the bracketed IMG tags.

Welcome. I work in Allston and go to Cambridge often. You might see me drive by.
I use photobucket to host all my pics. It makes it easy to post them and you don't get the size limitations that most forums impose. I use for free backup copies.

Hey Ryan! Glad you made it over here. We're certainly packing in the Ryans now... I think you're #4. Get some pics of the Jeep up - I use PhotoBucket and it has yet to fail me in the 8 or so years I've been using it.
Re: Ryan D from Cambridge
welcome to the forum, Ryan. Seems like you've got your plans all laid out nicely.
Re: Ryan D from Cambridge
Hey guys.
Yeah, I'm from East Cambridge within spitting distance of the Leechmere train stop.
The header went in yesterday without a glitch, and man, what a relief it is to not hear that god awful ticking anymore!! It sounds like a properly running jeep again! I haven't had it on the highway yet, but I'm hoping the additional back pressure gives it a little something in 5th gear. I didn't realize how bad it it over 65 in 5th, to maintain speed you have to be rolling down hill lol.... I'll create a photobucket account tonight. I did figure out how to post on here, but members with under 7 days here cant post url's or links punblicly. So I guess we'll just have to wait a few more days regardless...
