Hey all-
Newbie here from Boston. Just got an 07 jku about a month ago. Had been looking since January and finally found the right one. Was getting an oil change on my car at Boch Honda and I saw the jku on the lot and I made a move and got it
Anyways, this is my first Jeep. Have been into cars and trucks my whole life. Anxious to get this thing off road! Would love to go wheeling. No mods yet. Money is tight as of now hah. Would still like to get this thing dirty and see what it can do. Had a Tahoe back in high school that I took off roading a few times but it was nothing major. Just having some fun. Really love this jku though. Feels good to get back in a truck/suv. Traded in a Acura TL for the Jeep. Acura was GREAT on gas and was awesome for my long commute to work but last summer I got a place that is 2 miles from my office so I dont drive much so I have been pleasently happy with gas so far with the Jeep.
Point of the post is to say Hi to every one and would love to get my "new" Jeep off road soon
Hope to talk to you guys soon, and I will post some pics when I can

Welcome to the forum! We've got a lot of very knowledgeable folks here that the rest of us like to run ideas past. Post of some pics when you get a chance. We all like to check out each other's rigs.
Re: new member from Boston
Welcome! Glad you made it over from JF. We've got a run planned next month (date TBD) but I'm not yet sure it will be stock friendly. If not, I'm going to try and get a BBQ together for late July which hopefully you could attend. We try and wheel once a month April through November/December so we'll get you out on the trails soon.
BTW.... What's your name?

Hey all-
I'll try and post up some pics later on. Just have been busy with work and things. Would love to attend an event that I could participate in. Names Corey by the way. Talk to you all soon.

Woot woot! Glad to see you made it over, Corey.
Just wait till you get it offroad. You'll be amazed how capable the stock JKUs are!

Thanks guys Since I got it last month I have removed the "X" decal and I also added a Red Hot Chili Peppers decal on the rear passengers side above the tail light. Pretty impressive mods so far huh? haha

Hi and Welcome!
I think we're neighbors - You said you live near Blue Hills and I'm in Dorchester. I also have a stock-height JKU, I did get it stuck on the last trail run, but it wasn't the Jeep's fault! Hope to see you around.
