Picked the jeep up today. The gussets are in and everything rides and feels perfect. I will be having the rock rails done next week.

Ordered a good air compressor finally:

I'm planning on finding a spot under hood to mount it permanently. Should be an interesting project.

Wow 1 1/2 minutes to inflate a 35 inch tire, that's pretty darn good. Sounds like it is a powerful unit.

It is two MV50s in one package. There are a ton of write ups of jeep forum about the MV50 and ways to mount and mod it. Should be pretty cool and helpful.

I've had a couple MV50's. Definitely got the job done, just took a while but well worth it. This one looks/sounds promising for sure!dongalonga wrote:It is two MV50s in one package. From the research I did, the MV50 sounded like great bang for the buck. Two MV50s in one package sounded even better!
Did you permanently mount yours under hood? I plan on doing that and the dual line mod, so I can fill two tires at a time.

Had a great time at OFR yesterday. A few things to take care of now. The factory fog lights have now blown a bulb for the third time in a year. It is out of warranty now, so upgrade time. Replacing them with these LED driving lights:
Also, the MV89G worked very well. I think it took less than 10 mins to fill all four tires from 12.5lbs to 28lbs.
I also decided to order an upgraded bolt kit for the track bar and control arms:

Well the LED lights were too big for the stock fog location. I found that Pilot makes an inexpensive set that fit perfectly into the factory mounting cups. The installation was straight forward. Cut off the factory connectors and wire them up. Not bad for under $50 at Autozone. Now I need to get some windshield brackets for the LEDS.

A day or so after the OFR trip, I developed a loud high pitched noise coming from the belt drive. Brought it in and had the tensioner and idler pulley replaced. Hooray warranty!
