Hooksett NH run this Sunday, 10/21
Hi guys,
Sorry about dropping the ball on the 'early oct' run thread that I started. Things have been crazy lately. Anyway, even if solo, I'm heading to Hooksett this Sunday for some wheeling. Same location as the August club run. That was a fun trail with some nice little obstacles.
Anyone want to join???
Meeting Location:
10:00 AM
CVS Pharmacy, 10 Whitehall Road
Hooksett, NH 03106

Does anybody know of some trails that are more challenging than hookset?
That place is like a walk in the park.
Been there twice ,nothing to do there as far as rocks, hills etc. Hey just sayin.
Need to run up over and through stuff!!

Hudson, NH power lines have gotten me hung up a few times. I can't confirm legality of this. I heard about it through a friend who's gone wheeling there for years and never had an issue. So...

Power lines are off limits 90% of the time and as we're a public drum, they cań be discussed on here.
Should you run the Hooksett trail please be extremely cautious of your actions. I've gotten some phone calls about problems with jeeps and trucks up in those trails doing burnouts in mud (damaging the land) and littering. We've got a hard enough time keeping this sport in a positive light.
Also please remain only on the trails we ran. There are some VERY angry neighbors that will quickly call the police should you accidentally wander off the legal road.

Ryan I don't want to cause any issues. All of us who run this will be extremely respectful - def no burnouts, littering etc. We'll keep it on the DL!
Re: Hooksett NH run this Sunday, 10/21
I'm open to other trail suggestions, Hooksett was just the only one that I know of that's fairly long, etc. PM me any other suggestions in the area. Might be down for more than 1 trail on Sunday!

Hell, sometimes they call the cops when you're *on* the legal land, ha ha. Man, that dude was angry for no reason.

Yeah , how about our first time there , the cops were looking for Hulk.
They pulled me over.

My bad. I wasn't trying to condone illegal activity, I was honestly unaware. I'll refrain from wheeling there now that I know. Thanks for the tip.

6033058736 in case you need to get ahold of me for anything. I'm gonna make this, hopefully I can fix my transfer case linkage first. If not, I'll be doing it in 2wd

Even if your t case linkage is not right you can always get under jeep and shift by hand at t case.
Remove linkage rod and shift right at case . Easy to do , i have run my jeep like that before no problems.

Yeah, Greg explained to me where it was as he couldn't make it, but I didn't see it. Either way, the foliage is prime, the weather was lovely and the Stella was running excellent so I had fun.

I'll probably go somewhere. Anyone else got a free day, make it a group effort?

Next time shoot me a PM and I'll send you exact GPS coordinates to the trail heads.

I wanted to join in but I wouldn't have made the meeting spot until like 12:30. Way too late.

That's about the time I got up there.
Who can do this run this Saturday coming up? Meet around noon, maybe a bit after?
