Freetown/Fall River State Forest

Hit Freetown/Fall River State Forest last month with my buddy. I have a JKU and he has a TJ. It was a fun time. Got the rigs muddy, some good ruts, etc. Nothing major like a Camel Trophy lol but it was a good time. My rig is stock and any rig could handle it. I want to head back down there hopefully on Saturday June 1st to have some fun. I live in Hyde Park and its about a 40 min drive from here. Let me know if any one would want to tag along.

Who wouldve known! This is good to know. I dont think im up to going out wheeling this month ( i'll be driving down for Jeep Beach in Dayton Beach, Fl so i want to minimize any potential damages to the jeep!) next month i receive my 35" tires so ill be happy to go wheeling then!

The 95 zj in my pic. Looks a little different now though. I've seen our Roslindale friend parked at dicks in dedham a few times haha

What a small world haha. I alway see a sweet lifted rescue green JKU in the dedham plaza parking lot. I wonder if that's anyone on here? Anyways let's try and get a trip down to that state forest in the beginning of May. I have a friend who just got a new Cherokee Trailhawk and he wants to tag along too.

i would love to see how that thing does on a trail. and i'm up for play time if I can find some free time. where do you live in hyde park. I'm like 2 minutes from the stop and shop.

I hear that jeep beach day is awesome. I'm jealous my gf is down in Daytona for cheer nationals right now.

Nah. I wish I had a lifted Rubicon haha. My JKU is Steel Blue Metallic with Rubicon rock rails.

Ha! Nice man. Your rig looks sweet. Back on subject to the original post, how does Saturday May 3rd sound for a trip down to Freetown/Fall River?

I work Saturdays sadly. Well I work every day haha but Sundays are better

yeah my family owns some land right by there so i spent some days there

Ok so lets plan on Sunday May 4th, rain or shine. I think i can get some other buddies to join who are non-members.

time/place for meet? I'm fearing since i'm taking the 27th off I might get stuck at work til 2 or 3

I was thinking we could meet in the Stop & Shop parking lot in HP. Anyone that lives close by can also meet us there, and we can then set a meeting point for non-Boston Jeeps. There are plenty of rest stops off of the highway on the way down there. We can pinpoint exacts once we get more of a headcount, etc. Keep me posted on your timing.
