All Wheels Off Road Park in Maine SHUT DOWN
Just came across this bit of news about the closure of All Wheels Off Road Park in Maine:

Though I understand the town of Lewiston's position on the matter, this is a damn shame and a big blow to the off road community, especially here in New England. Hopefully it's just a simple matter of the owner acquiring the correct paper work and squaring things away with the town. I was actually planning on visiting the park sometime later this summer, but unless things change it seems that is now highly unlikely.

saw that, what a bummer. though if he wasn't running insurance liability its probably for the best. That really could have got him in the end. Can't do nice thing for people any more.

Welcome to liberal America where the government decides what you do with your privately owned property. If they don't get a cut of the action they will take everything from you. When a place allows donations but doesn't charge an admission fee, it is none of the governments damn business IMHO. If he wants to risk liability he is an adult and should be allowed the freedom to make that choice. Yet another issue...law suit happy asshats who can't accept responsibility for their own actions. Sorry for the rant but this stuff really pisses me off.

This is not a question of liberal or conservative, both sides have lost their damn minds as of late. It is just wrong from any angle.

We can agree to disagree. No reason to start a political war on a Jeep forum.
