aussie locker 8.8
So next weekend I plan on pulling out the welded carrier and swap with a new open carrier.i also have to change my ring gear over to the new carrier and install an aussie locker. Any do this type of stuff in sd so let me know of any tricks and tips to make this easier on me

Have you done gear setup before? Make sure you have all the tools that you MIGHT need (not just the ones you'll definitely need lol) if you want to get it done in a day. Also don't re-use old bearings for setup if you're going to be replacing them with new ones, the size difference can be enough to throw off your setup-forcing you to pull your new bearings at least once, if not multiple times.

Buy a new set of bearings and hone them out to use for setup, not your old ones.

So its been some time since the install. The install went very smooth Andrew and I were able to get it done in 5 hours and it wasn't as hard as I thought. Gear installs just sounds scary but honestly guys it's really not that bad just pay attention to detail I can't stress enough And follow the manufacturer torqe and tolerances spec's and your all good. I have not received had any problems with the locker and I was able to beat the snot out of it and I'm very impressed.
