Hi guys, my name is Nick, I live in Salem MA. Just picked up a 03' Rubicon last month.

So far I have it lifted with 2" BDS lift rolling on 33" KM2's and just put on a simple custom stinger bumper that I scored of a club member. Made the switch from a 07' Trailblazer which I had lifted on the BFG's, did well, I just wanted to go a bit more extreme with rock crawling and the IFS wasn't cutting it.

I am also in the WM4x4 club, and have been out many times, just looking to find some local Jeepers to go out with too..

The plans for this rig is to make it a relatively LCG crawler. Have a Zone 1.25" BL/ 1" MML that I need to install when time permits. And then I'm thinking UCF transfer case/ engine skids and plan on picking up a winch in the near future as well... Then I'll see where I go from there.

Heres the Rubi, just after the 2" lift and tires:

And the Trailblazer I came from:

welcome, nick. it's nice to have you here. I like the direction your Rubi's going, and the TB looked pretty badass.

Welcome. Nice Rubicon. Definitely get that BL/MML done before doing anything serious. Otherwise you can say goodbye to you fender flares. I would imagine you will want to look into some flat fenders ASAP if you want to do the LCG thing.

Thanks guys!

Yea I plan on getting the BL/MML done soon, just wasn't able to do it the day I did the suspension lift with a lot of the bolts giving me trouble, even spraying w/ PB blaster for a week, so I want to have a good chunk of time to get it done.

And I actually went wheelin' this past weekend out in Sturbridge on a club members property. Pretty crazy stuff, everyone else was on 37's and up. I just didn't disco the front and just had enough room to not rip the flares off, but like I said the BL is going on soon.

Will be planning tube fenders down the line as well, but will prob wait til I wear out the 33's and go 35's, but we'll see. First I want to get it armored up.

Hey Nick- glad you made it over. Sorry if the username didn't work out correctly, at least you got to keep some of it! The Rubicon looks awesome. Question for you, as I know someone that's been asking, what kind of lift did you have on the Tblazer? My local AutoZone guy is always asking me if I know of any lifts for them as he has one and I'd love to finally have an answer for him.

Look forward to meeting you soon.

Thanks Ryan! Yea, I thought I had clicked the email link to activate it, but I couldn't find the link again in my email to try to do it again. And everything I tried to have it send me another turned up that my email address was already used and username too, but it wouldn't let me reset password... Oh well.

As for the TB, there are a couple forums that guys with those use, gmtnation for more basic stuff, but also has lift info. And for guys more into offroading there is offroadtb. A couple known companies make lifts like BDS and SMAXX, but there is a guy on the forums that has a TB and engineered his own which is the smae concept, just a little cheaper and really good quality, which I and many others used.

Can be found here: theliftmeister (just add .com, as I guess I can't post links for 7 days)

They are all more like BB. The TB did do good, but I was just getting more into wheeling and wanted a solid front axle and locker...

Hello.

I'm right over in the line in Peabody if you need an extra set of hands with the BL or anything.
