Re: 2013 NEA4WDC Snow Run
Just figured I'd throw it out there, if anyone was interested.
Me, along with other WM4x4 guys will be helping out with registration on site, parking and food afterwords. And I'll be gunning a Class VI as well.

Here is an updated flyer. I'm leading the Class VI run and helping with food. It should be a great day. I hope some of you come out and play in the snow.

Cool. Yea Jeremy mentioned you would be able to lead. I can gun if necessary. I just pre-ran them this weekend and cleared/cut some downed trees. You're going up there this weekend right? And I'll be helping out with the setup that AM as well.

Re: 2013 NEA4WDC Snow Run
I don't think I'm going to get there until next weekend. I've got some stuff I have to finish installing. I'm hoping to get everything done this weekend and be ready for the following. Any interest in taking me through it the following weekend? I'd love for you to gun, or lead and I'll gun.
Sounds like you guys had some fun this weekend. I wish I could have gone.

Can't go either, going under the knife Monday at 1pm and will be out of commission for a couple/few months. Enjoy yourselves guys.
COME ON SPRING!!!
I hope thae doctor doesn't loose a super bowl bet on sunday and then take it out on me monday!
It's bad enough that I will be coming out of the hospital with a remote controlled battery implanted in my side and wires running all the way up and inside my back and attached to my spine.
CAN YOU SAY OUCH,, SHORT CIRCUT!!! Cyborg

Hey Matt - I would love to go, but I don't have a winch or locker. what do you think? I don't want to be "that guy" again.

That's a great question for janesy. He was there last weekend. What size tires are you running?

Re: 2013 NEA4WDC Snow Run
Thats kinda a tough one. Winch I'd say you don't really need as I will have recovery gear and I got my winch. For the most part I ran the trails unlocked just so I could be fair with judging the trails.
But there were spots that were icey and I needed to lock at least the rear... So it depends really on if/how much more snow we get by then. Otherwise the trails weren't all that difficult, just slick in some spots and you most likely would need a tug.
Like Matt said, what size tires you running? What condition are they in? I'll run it by the guy organizing it and see ultimately what he says and get back to you.

Re: 2013 NEA4WDC Snow Run
Hey guys lets not over pre-run the trails
Matt, I'm kind of thinking that if you and CJ8?? can't get out this weekend not to worry about it. The moderate list has been growing some but right now I think we'd still have one group. Right now though we can have Nick or Eric lead and you or CJ8?? gun. If we have enough to split into two groups we can do the same thing still provided the 4 of you are able to make it. I've only seen registrations for you and Nick though.
Dakotabuck, get back with your rigs specs and we'll see what we can do. If for some reason you can't wheel your rig your still more than welcome to come out and watch the on site wheeling or maybe you can find an empty seat?
Biggest thing from me though for anyone planning to attend PLEASE preregister via the email provided. Payment at this time will be cash the day of the event. Hope to see ya out there.

Good call, I was thinking that myself today as even when me and Eric were out there most were already traveled. Plus I don't really want to go that far 3 times in a month to run the same Class VI's anyway.

Hi Guys,
I have 32" BFG KM (the stock rubicon tire). The have 30k miles on them, but still plenty of meat left on them. Also have a 2" lift. Open-Open.
Thanks

Re: 2013 NEA4WDC Snow Run
The open open scares me. If it was fair conditions it wouldn't be such a bad thing but with winter on New England I just don't know. Get a locker lol. Like I said though even if you can't wheel come on out we'll take your money for the cause and then we'll do our damnedest to make sure you have a good time.

Re: 2013 NEA4WDC Snow Run
Smart move, it's enough that you don't have the greatest tires but no locker with snow and ice on top of that seems like a recipe for a dent or two.

I don't have a locker, but I could care less about dents. Also, I do have a winch. Should I attempt it?
