Re: Third Time's the Charm LJ
Decided to take a chance:
LED Lightbar
It is a rebranded Hanma unit. Here are the specs:
Hanma BCS Series
This will free up some caps for seats as well.

Re: Third Time's the Charm LJ
Looks like a nice setup. I take it this will be for "off-road use" only? And is the plan to mount it to the bumper or are you buying a windshield frame bracket and mounting it there?
I'm in the market myself for some lighting for the Cherokee, but I need something street-legal to help with the sub-par headlights. They're still better than the YJ mind you, and have a decent wide-beam pattern, but you can't see much down road so I'm hoping to pick up some medium- to long-range driving lights to help things out on that front.

Great price on the lights, and the seats look comfortable.
My Sahara seats are not too bad on the body, they have held up well with almost 300k on them, but im sure the ones you are getting are much more comfortable.

Yes this will be for Offroad use and mounted on the bumper.
I have something else in the works for seats. More to come...

3.73 open front LS rear. I only plan to lock the front. I really like the LS rear.

Nice! I wanted to do a leather swap in my XJ but I haven't gotten there yet. How difficult was it to swap? Did you need adapter brackets or anything?

I will post up a full write up once I do the other side. I want to figure out the seatbelt and wiring first.

Re: Third Time's the Charm LJ
I managed to figure out the seatbelt after a little bit of a break. It was pretty obvious and I'm not sure why I couldn't figure it out the first time.

Time will tell for sure but preliminary assessment is roughly 100,000x more comfortable.

Thanks Mark. I figure if I am going to do road trips I need to be somewhat comfortable.

Those seats look great! How do you like the light bar?

Re: Third Time's the Charm LJ
The seats are very comfortable so far. I only used the lightbar for a few mins. It works very well. I want to get it out on a highway with no lights and see how far it throws.

Re: Third Time's the Charm LJ
Any plans for those floods? I looked back at your post about them and they look like they throw a good amount of light, and I'm in the market for some lighting upgrades.
Re: Third Time's the Charm LJ
I was thinking of rigging them up as reverse lights somehow, but don't think I have any room for them. If you want them shoot me a text and we can work something out.

Today's Jeeping:
Finally tuned my CB using the SWR meter today. Got it to 1.2 which I think is pretty dang good. Preparing for wheeling this weekend.
