Dude, I'd love to take it off ya hands, just that I'm getting married in a month so fundage is a bit low now that I emptied my Jeep fund. I also would take those front lower control arms off ya too...

I doubt the UA is going anywhere. haven't had a single serious offer. The control arms will be short money. I can do $225.

Can't even do that right now, as I more need rear upper arms, so those would have to wait as well... But if you can't unload this stuff, when I get some coinage, I'll get back to you.
Maybe my wifey will let me get myself a wedding present, but we'll see.

Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
Last week I rattle canned the Rokmens black just so they didn't look out of place anymore in just primer. Did it while they were mounted as I was taking the Jeep out over the weekend... Still need to go over them better, with some seam sealer and get the spots on the inside that I couldn't get to, but that'll probably be in the spring when its nice out again, but for now at least it'll look half decent!
And while out on Saturday, I had a little bit of carnage... Not too thrilled but oh well its a Jeep.
Here's the story, was making a tight turn through a couple trees, very slow speed, thought I had it, if anything rub the side of the fender, but guess not. Didn't even notice til I got home and did my walk around, as I barely touched the tree, or so I remember... I had backed up and got a better line, and kept on going, didn't think anything of it.
Tomorrow I'lltake the fender off and do what I can to straighten it out, as the bottom folded in and push the top of the fender up a little making the hood rub. No issues with the fan or anything, so thats a plus.
Also bent my ZJ tie rod pretty good, so I'm looking into the Savvy/Currie Ultimate steering and be done with it.While I'm not fond of body damge and replacing parts I recently put on, its the nature of the sport, and the fun of wheelin' makes up for it!

Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
I honestly think it looks great with black. Might grow on you to the point of not matching them. Black is also much easier to touch-up when the time comes.
We spoke about next weekend, right? You're not able to make it?

Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
Thanks Ryan! I'm really liking the black, and I'm lazy enough (probably still will be in the spring) to take the time to get them reeeaal nice and matching the silver. So 95% chance they will stay black.
I may look into the TNT Gaurdian Side Panels to strenthen up the area of the tub and to kinda cover the damage I just recieved, since the panel may be a bit wavy once I'm done straightening it... And if/when I get those, I'll paint match em and that add some silver to the part that covers the side of the fender.
And yea you did mention next weekend. WM4x4 has a trail cut that is more than likely to happen. Place does suck in the rain so if it does rain and it gets called, I'll tag along with you guys, but wont know til we're a bit closer. Thanks for the invite tho!

Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
Yea, can't wait to get these suckers on! They are wheel well to wheel well so they will need to be trimmed down a bit to fit with the Rokmen fenders. And I'll have to trim the Smitty corners flush as well. Then paint and mount. Hopefully by next weekend.
Also just got some diff protection today! Got em 20% off on Black Friday. Good piece of mind, as my stockers are a bit dented..
Hopefully they aren't too bulky and interfere with anything, as these mofo's are beefy!

Had yesterday during the day off so I mounted, drilled and trimmed the A to Z sliders. Then brought them to work last night, painted them up and mounted them today after work. Can't wait to slide them on some rocks!

Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
Nice! I can speak from experience that they can take one hell of beating and still look brand new!
Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
Picked up a Die Hard battery, since the Jeep wouldn't start the other day. Original went for quite a while, almost 10 years...
Tight squeeze with the hyline fenders but it went in no problem.
Of coarse once I got the battery in and went to run some errands, the starter decided to sh*t the bed. Had done it before on me a while back, but a whack with a hammer and started right up. Luckily I had my tools with me and was able to whack it today in the lot I was stuck in (almost wouldn't fire up) and made it to Autozone to pick up a new one. Changed it in the lot and did hte core exchange and went on my way.
Fires up like a champ now!

Looks like a good time! I saw something on facebook about somebody cracking a transfer case or something?
Looked *awful*.

Yea it was fun out in the snow, good place for it as well.
And yea, TC split right in half. Rig isn't built very well and the owner really doesn't know how to wheel and doesn't care about any damage whatsoever. Rig started falling off the trailer on his way home, when a strap broke b/c it wasn't loaded properly. Crazy stuff.
