Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
Night wheelin' was a blast! Gives an easy place a whole new aspect to it in the dark.
Overall the main loop is stock friendly, does have some long hill climbs that are fun, but the dark makes it much more interesting . And there are offshoots with some rock faces that even a built buggy would have a good time on.

Man my rig's electrical system was BUILT for night wheeling.
Engo's are those winches I keep hearing great things about, right? Jeep looks awesome man.

Engo was the winch that won the winch shootout but the magazine gave it to Warn (I believe). That was funny because the Engo was the only winch to survive their testing.

Thanks Ryan. As for the night wheeling, my rig is well under lit, as I have no aux lighting yet. But the JK in front of me lit the trail up enough for all of us!
Yea Shaun is right about the Engo, at least from what I've read. So with the price being so low, I figured it was worth a try.

NEA property up in Hancock NH. Best place I've wheeled so far. Lots to do 33's locked front and rear, but not good for anything less. Bunch of hardcore stuff for the bigger rigs/buggies as well.
It was super dry out there this weekend so I was able to crawl everything with a little scraping here and there since at this place, a little more ground clearance is better.
Pumped to go back up there for Fall Crawl in September.
Heres a good one of me flexin'!

I think the best pic would have been right before the fith one you posted. You had that front driver tire just floating in the air and the jeep was stuck to the ground still. You and Eric rocked it out there. I'll have to get him back out when the new wears off the jeep some

Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
Finally got around to installing the Shittybilt corners, that I should have put on before Gretchen's.
I did take the original finish down and recoat with a rattle can bedliner. Should be good for now.
And til I get hassled by the cops, I'll be runnign flareless in the meantime!

Looking pretty killer janesy! How long did it take you to manstaline the tub? This is something I want to do before winter.

Re: Janesy's 03' Rubicon Build
Thanks fellas!
A lot of guys do this over a weekend (3 days or so). Take everything out, scuff/sand, and clean/wipe with MEK. If putting down Chassis Saver to cover any rust do that also Fri night. Then early AM roll on the 1st coat of Monsta, 2nd once the first sets up. Sunday afternoon put everything back in.
I took my time as its not my DD and had to put it on hold a couple times becuase of weather, then let it sit for a good 3 days or so before putting everything back in. But if it wasn't crappy out I would have had it done over a weekend.

Talked to my neighbor, laborer for my company, and does a lot of welding, he's planning on coming by Sunday and knocking these out for me!
So should be on at least by labor day, with paint I'm thinking, if all goes well.
