front locker is nice i didn't notice mine in 2wd really helped with soft sand

They're cheap and easy enough that if you don't like it you can remove it. The only issue is if you want to be in 4wd in the snow.

Even the difference between full time and part time in the snow was very noticeable to me. Steering works a lot better in full time, fwiw.

i take my out for the snow but thats because sometimes people drive my jeep i could deal with it but i dont trust others

Lunchbox lockers do indeed suck if you want to turn smoothly in 4wd.
